Have pm's in my sent folder that I know have been received by others. Why do I see messages in my outbox folder that say they have been sent?...why aren't these outbox pm's simply in the sent folder if it says they've been sent?

The messages you have sebt show in your outbox till they are opened by the person you have sent them to. The sent message is just a list of the messages you have sent to people.

Ahhh. So once messages in my outbox have been opened and read by the person I sent them too, they will then appear in the sent folder, correct?
So if someone doesn't frequent this site often, or no longer does at all...the outbox messages may never get moved to the sent folder.
