That sounds like one heck of a fine plan! Envious of your longevity and continued desire. Can’t wait to see the pictures, and I might have to take you up on that offer.gypsy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 4:07 pm Leave home Sept 8 with my two GSP's.
Will hunt Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Utah and AZ.
Have never hunted Utah before. However I will not leave a spot that has lots of birds.
I will cover 10,000 miles and be out until the first of the year.
I am 79 years old and my last bird hunting buddy died last year, so I am doing this solo. Contact me if you want of join up along the line.
Good news. After a rough patch my recovery has been remarkable. I had the surgery two weeks ago and I'm off pain meds and walking quite well with a cane. When our season opens in 3 weeks I'm definitely going to be able to walk the more level terrains we hunt. My buddies can do the thicker and hillier stuff but I'm now certain that I'm going to be able to enjoy most of the season at least.

Whip has been at my side every step of the way to help get me out there!
